See who we have worked with above.
We focus on relationships and communications and everything we do is aimed at helping your business do the right thing at the right time. We know that leading a business can be a lonely place so we sit close to you acting as a sounding board, business guide and trusted adviser, making you, your team and your business stronger and better positioned for success.
We can act as your General Counsel, your Board Adviser or your Finance and Business Affairs Expert. We give your business the expertise that larger and listed companies take for granted but on a flexible and value for money basis and bring additional quality to your decision-making team.
You can retain us to work inside your business for a number of days per month, (usually between 1 and 4 days) or you can engage us on a discreet one-off project basis to deal with a particular problem or set of issues.
We will influence your business to change, so that you stop papering over the cracks. This will save you money in the long run. We will give you the input and guidance your business really needs so as to attack and eradicate embedded problems that you know currently exist within your business.
We advise, guide, lead and partner with you and your business through providing the following services.
How we work
All businesses are the same. In every case they are made up of a number of key commercial relationships. Look after your relationships and you will look after your business.
We build strong relationships with our clients so that we can help them to build strong relationships with their customers, suppliers, employees and the others they deal with.
We will identify your key business relationships, help you to set them up in the right way and manage them as they evolve.
From the moment we meet you we will engage with you, we will be hungry to learn about your business and we will start to provide key support and guidance through our relationship with you.
Your relationship with us will become one of your key relationships.
An eye for business
We have worked as lawyers and senior executives inside businesses for many years. We know that a pragmatic business approach and good decision-making is the key to business success.
For us business comes first and the law second.
We will help you to put in place and maintain a structure and system of governance that will make your business stronger.
We will set up your key contracts, manage your key business relationships and help you deal with your day-to-day business problems.
We understand the dynamic that exists between the agreements and contracts that you sign and the day-to-day operations of your business.
We see trends across a wide range of business sectors and use this experience to give our clients a strong negotiating position and competitive advantage.
A flexible General Counsel or Senior Executive in your business gives you a top flight problem solver which will free you up to focus on growing your business.
The more you work with us, the better prepared your business will be, which will reduce the number and type of problems you are likely to face.
Relying on staff with inadequate experience or doing things on the cheap will inevitably generate embedded problems in your business. We will move you away from this way of doing things.
We can drill down into the legal detail of the problems and issues you are facing helping you to quickly and economically resolve them.
Bring us onto your Board and start to deal with all your problems and issues at source.
A trusted partner
We know that trust and competence are the two key requirements our clients demand when looking for business help and guidance, but trust is without doubt their number one requirement.
If you are going to share your business problems, issues and challenges with someone from outside your business and close circle you need to be able to trust them.
Honesty, integrity, confidentiality and a genuine interest in you and your business, is what we stand for.
We know that it takes time to build trust, however, as Ernest Hemingway said "The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them."
Put your trust in us and you will quickly see how we can become a Trusted Adviser to you and your business.
